Coming soon to the App Store, for iPad

Put out a feeder and see who comes

Pick a corner of North America, and its birds come to visit. You might see chickadees and cardinals in the Northeast, quail and roadrunners in the Southwest, or magpies in the Rocky Mountains. Your yard follows the real clock, seasons and weather there. The birds sleep at night, some fly away for the winter, and when it snows there, it snows in your yard too.

Choose what to put out

Seed, suet, sugar water, a bird bath, a pond, a birdhouse. Each one brings different birds, so you decide who visits.

Eight places to explore

From the Northeast to Alaska, every region has its own birds, trees and weather. There are 67 kinds of bird to find.

Watch a family grow

In spring, a pair may build a nest in your tree or birdhouse. Watch them lay eggs and raise their chicks in about a week.

Surprise visitors

Rabbits hop across the lawn by day. Raccoons, foxes and owls come out at night. A deer might stop by for apples.

A few minutes a day

Birdtopia takes its time, and so can you. Check in over breakfast, refill the feeders and see who stopped by. Your yard grows a little every day, and the birds keep visiting while you're away.
